Zlatni rat is Bol's most famous beach, but there are other beaches like Martinica, Borak or Ribarska kucica.
Zlatni rat is one of the most popular beaches in Croatia and considered as one of the best beaches in the world. It is completely natural, created by sea currents in
Hvar channel. It streches 450 m into the channel and rotates its edge depending on current weather conditions (sea currents).
Since 2012 beach Zlatni rat holds a Blue flag award for excellence in sea quality.
Ribarska kucica (fishermans house) is small beach 5 min walking distance from Bol center. It lies hidden beneath old Bol hotel - Bijela kuća (white house) just next to the Martinica beach.
Located only 10 minute walking distance from Bol center, Martinica beach is hidden behind Dominican monastery, on Bol east edges. Ideal for couples, Martinica offeres lot more than pure sun and pebbles. During August, every morning there is summer swimming school for kids 'Grancigula', completely free of charge and for everyone.
Borak beach is located just bellow hotel Borak and hotel Elaphusa. It is a pebble beach with lots of extras. On the beach there is Bluesun Hotels restaurant Borak. In the early evening when there are no more people on the beach restaurant staff puts tables on the beach, just few meters from the sea. Having dinner there is spectacular.
On the beach there is also Big Blue windsurfing center, diving center and a court for beach volleyball.
