Vidova gora (St Vid's mountain) with its 778 m above sea level is highest peak of all Adriatic islands. It is located just above Bol, and view from there is spectacular, really spectacular.
From Bol you can reach Vidova gora by foot, it will take you about 2h to get there and 20 minutes to get back. Make sure to wear solid shoes since there is lots of rocks on the way up.

You can reach it by car in two ways. I would recommend taking a car from Bol to Gornji Humac and then turn left for Nerezisca. Crossroads for Vidova gora is few kilometers in front of Nerezisca (there is big sign). From the main road there is another 3-4 km to the Vidova gora.
For the return, I would recommend other route. There is new road that goes from Vidova gora to Murvica and then to Bol. Part of this road is macadam, but declining down from Vidova gora with this route is amazing since you see Hvar, and you are getting from cca 600 m above sea level to the sea level.
On the Vidova gora there is a restaurant where you can try some local food. I would recommend cheese and nothing else, since food there is not quite good.
